Mendez New Chief

In a special meeting of the Stryker Village Council…Sgt. Steve Mendez was officially promoted to chief of police starting next month. Mendez has served on the Stryker Police Department for 22 years. He will be moved to a full-time position on Monday. Police Chief, Steve Schlosser had previously announced his retirement. Council unanimously approved allowing the chief to live outside village limits.
