Michigan man facing charges in Edgerton woman’s alleged kidnapping

A Michigan man was arraigned on kidnapping charges for taking his former fiance from Edgerton against her will. Randon Goebel is facing kidnapping, and resisting and obstructing a police officer. Edgerton police contacted Michigan State Police about the incident and he was arrested. Bond was set at $3,000 and a probable cause hearing is scheduled for May 17th in Hillsdale County District Court. He faces extradition to Ohio after charges in Michigan are settled. He remains in jail in Hillsdale County.
