The Monroe County Health Department is offering free radon testing kits to residents as part of recognizing National Radon Action Month. The kits are first come, first serve and can be picked up from the Monroe County Health Department at 2353 S. Custer Road during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, through the end of January. Supplies are limited, according to the health department.
