More Charged In Child Death Case

Two more are charged in the 2016 death of a baby boy near Hicksville. Investigators say Sarah Stark gave birth at a residence on Arrowsmith Road, near Hicksville but failed to obtain any medical attention to the newborn, who died about 10 hours later. Prosecutors say following the death, between Oct. 29, 2016 and March 28, 2018, Sarah and Jared, with the assistance of Steven and Sheryl Stark, treated the deceased child’s remains in a manner that prosecutors say would outrage reasonable community sensibilities. Steven Stark, 58, and Sheryl Stark, 56, both of Hicksville, have both been indicted on one count of gross abuse of a corpse.
