Mossing Gets Jail Time

A Napoleon woman is sentenced in Defiance County for causing the traffic death of a Paulding County man in 2018. Emily Mossing was placed on probation for three years for vehicular homicide…and given 180 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with 120 days suspended. Mossing was also ordered to make $653 dollar restitution and have no contact with the victim’s family. Mossing was accused of running through a stop sign at Buckskin Road and Ohio 49, north of Hicksville…hitting a vehicle driven by William Moore, of Payne. He died at an area hospital, soon after.
