A northeastern Indiana man is sentenced to 80 years for two counts of attempted murder for shooting at police. Joshua Mumma of Garrett learned of his prison term after pleading guilty to those charges and to being a habitual offender, under a plea agreement. Prosecutors say DeKalb sheriff’s deputy, Todd McCormick was shot in his hands during the April 10, 2018, shooting following a traffic stop. Mumma was shot himself and hospitalized for several weeks.
