A Napoleon city committee is saying no to poultry in the city. They’ve recommended that council not allow residents to own poultry over concerns of noise, avian flu, waste, and having only one employee to enforce the zoning code. Other concerns included not wanting to attract predators like foxes and snakes. The idea first came up in October. The committees recommendation to keep the chickens out will be presented to council to consider on Monday.
