A 19-year-old rural Angola man will serve prison time after he admitted to trying to rob the Marathon gas station on West Maumee last February. Police said James Michael Moore used a BB gun that looked like a real hand gun during the robbery. The clerk showed Moore a knife and refused to hand over money. Moore was arrested less than two weeks later. He agreed to the plea bargain in September, and a prosecutors dismissed five counts of theft and a sexual battery case. After prison, Moore will be on probation for six years.
