Nearly 200 pot plants seized, Antwerp man arrested

An Ohio man is fac­ing charges after 198 mar­i­juana plants were seized from his res­i­dence in Antwerp. Tim­o­thy B. Edwards, 56, was arrested at the house he rents on Mon­day. He is being charged with know­ingly cul­ti­vat­ing mar­i­juana, a third-degree felony. Police also seized chem­i­cals, lights, soil, fans, firearms and cash dur­ing the search.
Other sus­pected nar­cotics were located and charges are pend­ing await­ing lab results from the Bureau of Crim­i­nal Inves­ti­ga­tions in Bowl­ing Green.
