The Ohio Department of Aging reemphasizes its plans to authorize reopening adult day care and senior centers on Sept. 21, though county senior centers will begin opening Oct. 5. Officials say frequent testing in congregate settings is important to control the spread of COVID-19. Adult day cares, nursing facilities and assisted living facilities will test staff every other week. Outdoor visitation was allowed at Ohio nursing homes, back on July 20th.
