Beginning July 1, motorists in Ohio will pay an additional 10.5 cents per gallon of gas and 19 cents per gallon of diesel fuel, as an increase in state fuel taxes goes into effect. The Ohio Department of Transportation gave Williams County Commissioners and update about the tax and its benefit to the county. Officials say Williams County will receive $1.53 million, or an increase of 62.8% over last year’s fuel tax payments.
