New Gear In Need

The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio Board unanimously agrees to solicit a request for proposals for new electronic monitoring services. Executive Director, Dennis Sullivan says the current equipment is outdated and the software system is no longer supported. He estimates the cost of a new electronic monitoring system at about $160,000. The funds would come out of the CCNO Supervision Fund, which currently stands at $1.6 million dollars. The board also unanimously agreed to extend the double time pay for overtime for staff through the end of this year. It was initiated during the pandemic to cover staff shortages.
