The Bryan city council agrees to hire Gary Mohre, who ran for Williams County sheriff in 2020, as the new assistant police chief. Also, Lt. Greg Rusky is the new police captain. Officials say hiring dates have yet to be determined, based on when each passes his state physical. A third hire will be Ross Butler, as a part-time dispatcher…with the intent to hire him as a police officer, once he graduates from the Owens Community College Police Academy.
