New “Ohio Protects” website targets scammers

The Ohio Attorney Generals Office says Ohioans are targeted daily with scams and they want to help. On Monday, Mike Dewine’s office launched its new “Ohio Protects” campaign with everything you need to know about how to protect your personal information and money. The website is www.OhioProtects.org. It offers consumer tips to prevent fraud, a searchable database of fraudulent business complaints and court findings, along with online affidavit forms to allow for easy reporting of fraud.
