NEW PIONEER DEFIBS

Pio­neer Vil­lage Coun­cil on Tues­day evening, voted to raise the level of ser­vice pro­vided by area emer­gency respon­ders. The Bryan Times reports that coun­cil approved the pur­chase of two new defib­ril­la­tors for the fire depart­ment.

The cur­rent defib­ril­la­tors, accord­ing to fire depart­ment offi­cials, are eight years old, out­dated and not com­pat­i­ble with those used at the hospital.
