The Millcreek West Unity Board of Education approves nearly two dozen new and revised North East Ohio Learning Associates Policies at its regular meeting. NEOLA, began serving school districts over 40 years ago as an educational consulting firm. It initially offered facilities studies, population projects, curriculum units and staff development. It then transitioned to providing policy service to districts that needed help staying on top of the new and changing laws and regulations affecting schools. Among the policy topics approved this week were weapons and facility security, care of students with diabetes and chronic health conditions. NEOLA serves 511 school districts in Ohio, including all seven districts in Williams County, as well as Central Local Schools.
