North Building Upgrades Sought

Officials say the City of Bryan is planning to spend thousands of dollars to improve the entrance at the Don North Municipal Building. The estimated cost of the project is $125,000. Funds are available in the Municipal Court budget to pay for the work, but the city is also seeking grants. The project includes mechanical and electrical work, plus improving the heating, lighting, doors and the sidewalk approach, for better handicap accessibility.
