Dr. Michael Thomson is picked by the Northwest State Community College board of trustees as the college’s next president. Thompson begins April 1. He becomes the seventh president of the college, replacing Dr. Tom Stuckey, who will retire on June 30. Thomson’s background includes working at the Ohio Board of Regents, Northern Kentucky University and Williams Rainey Harper College in Chicago.
