Northwest State Community College is awarded a $2.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant, paid out over a five-year period, will aid the college’s continued efforts to improve student success. The Department of Education awarded grant funding to a maximum of 10 colleges and universities throughout the United States, putting NSCC in esteemed company. The plan Northwest State submitted for consideration, titled “The Graduation Pathways for Success project,” will serve to increase student success, including completion and transfer rates, through a variety of objectives.
