Northwest Ohio Relay for Life volunteers were again well represented in the awards ceremony at the Ohio/West Virginia Relay for Life Summit recently held in Cleveland. Relay for Life is the signature volunteer fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. The Relay for Life of Defiance County received the Most Innovative Relay Award. The local relay transitioned in 2024 to a community night hosted by Glenn Park of Defiance. Also recognized was the Premier Bank team, taking home jade team honors raising $14,000.
