ODOT prepares for snow & ice season.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is preparing their fleet for snow and ice season by conducting annual equipment inspections that includes making sure every bolt is tight and ready to perform for the winter season. Throughout District 2, which includes Fulton, Henry, Williams, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood counties, ODOT has 55,845 tons of salt, 410,419 gallons of liquid de-icer and 120 trucks ready for the season.
