Officials want to get robber who hit two convenience stores

Police and the Sheriff’s Department say the man who robbed two convenience stores is likely local, knows the area, stole unique cigarettes and someone knows him. The armed robberies at the Holiday City Stop-N-Go on Ohio 15, and the Valero Main Stop in Montpelier happened about 20 minutes apart. The robber is 5-10″, about 150 lbs, wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans and dark running shoes. He was wearing a makeshift mask at one of the robberies and had a long, dark, curly wig. Police Chief Dan McGee is asking for help and Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 cash reward for information leading to his arrest and indictment.
