Nearly 85 percent of all Ohio businesses and governmental entities with taxpayer-funded economic development grants, tax credits or loans through the Ohio Development Services Agency were in compliance with the terms of their agreements in 2015. In a report released last week by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, 279 of 329 entities receiving ODSA awards were found to have substantially complied (met at least 90 percent of the commitments) with the terms and conditions of their award last year. The ODSA offers economic development incentives through a variety of programs.
