Ohio has been placed under a statewide spotted lanternfly quarantine, which went into force on February 17th, according to Brian Baldridge, head of the Ohio Department of Agriculture. In order to prepare shipments to out-of-state locations, Ohio plant health division officials work closely with nurseries. This means that additional inspections would need to take place prior to the movement of these items.
