Ohio School Shooter Escapes–is Caught

The con­victed Ohio school shooter TJ Lane escaped from state prison in Lima last night and was caught about 5 hours later. The 19 year-old Lane, who killed three stu­dents at Chardon High School Cafe­te­ria in 2012, went on the run in west­ern Ohio after escap­ing with two other inmates from the Allen Cor­rec­tional Insti­tu­tion in Lima. It is reported he was caught in a bean field armed with a pitch­fork. Chardon Schools can­celled school for today as soon as the escape became known and stu­dents will be offered coun­sel­ing because of the revival of bad mem­o­ries and a tem­po­rary per­ceived threat.
