Ohio Turnpike introduces new mobile app

The Ohio Turnpike is partnering with a mobile device app in an attempt to make holiday travel a little easier this year. The Ohio Turnpike today announced a partnership with Waze, a real-time crowd-sourced navigation app. The app is a free, two-way data exchange of publicly available traffic information aimed at promoting greater efficiency and safer travel on the Ohio Turnpike. It works by sharing data in real-time with anonymous, user-generated insights about things like traffic, construction and weather. For more information, visit http://waze.com/connectedcitizens.
