OLD JAIL GETS A SECOND LIFE

New life for an old jail.

Pauld­ing County Com­mis­sion­ers on Wednes­day accepted for the for­mer jail and the bid from All Trades His­tor­i­cal Restora­tion in the amount of $11,770 was the top bid­der.

All Trades Restora­tion, based in Indi­ana, wants the prop­erty for its Pauld­ing office. The com­pany plans to restore the build­ing to its orig­i­nal appear­ance and pos­si­bly remodel part of the struc­ture into apartments.
