One Dead After Head On Accident

A man is dead and another person is in serious condition after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle along State Road 37, between Barnett and Bruick roads, southwest of Harlan. Police say a group of motorcyclists were traveling together, heading towards Harlan. Witnesses told them a man on one of the motorcycles crossed the center line and hit a car head on. The man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. 37 was closed for several hours, as crews cleaned up the crash scene.
