One Dead In PC Crash

A deadly crash in Paulding County. Officials say Karenann Winters, 76, of Grover Hill, was westbound on Township Road 48, in Blue Creek Township. She stops at the intersection at U.S. 127 at the stop sign…then pulls out into the roadway…where she is hit by John Vibbert of Van Wert. Both cars careen off the roadway. Winters was taken to Parkview Regional in Fort Wayne. She died soon after. Vibbert was treated at the scene. Two passengers in his vehicle were transported to Van Wert Health for non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
