One Hurt In Crash

Alcohol and drug use is suspected after a car hits a home Ohio 66, south of Paulding County Road 166 in Brown Township. Anthony Baxter of Payne, was northbound on 66 when he drove off the right side of the roadway, into a bean field. Then, the vehicle struck the house…some people were in it…causing severe damage to the car and structural damage to the residence. Baxter was trapped in the car for a time. He was then flown to a Fort Wayne hospital in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation.
