One Hurt In House Fire

A small house, just north of Five Span, is damaged in a blaze on Ohio 111, across from the Auglaize Golf Course. One person in the home was taken to the hospital. No word on the victim’s condition. Oakwood and Defiance fire departments helped out in the firefighting operation. Crews cleared the area after all the hot spots were put out. State and local officials are investigating at this hour.
