Ongoing construction project at Defiance County Courthouse delayed.

Monday, Defiance County Commissioners discovered that the ongoing courthouse construction project has been delayed. The commissioners were notified that the elevator for the expansion is now anticipated to arrive in July. Since the inside cannot be completed until the elevator is constructed, the delay will probably cause the final completion date to be pushed back until perhaps November. The addition project will keep Court Street closed.
