Renewal of an agricultural lease was a hot button topic Monday night in Stryker.
The Bryan Times reports that three years ago bids were taken for a 34-acre property on the south side of the village. The high bidder from that period was asked Monday to renew the lease for three more years. The renewal was approved.
After the vote however, a big mistake turned up.
It seems council voted on the wrong document with the wrong wording and wrong amount.
Now, corrections will need to be made and approved by Stryker Council next month.
