Ottinger Case Update

Randall Ottinger…the Henry County man, charged with killing his brother…pleads guilty to an amended charge. Ottinger, 54, of McClure faces at least 18 years to life in prison. He was set to appear for a final pretrial hearing. Then, the announcement…a plea deal was reached just before the proceedings were set to begin. Ottinger was originally charged with aggravated murder with a gun specification in the June 2020 death of his brother, James. The charge is now amended to murder, which carries a sentence of 15 years to life in prison.
