More than 1,600 Indiana Michigan Power customers in Northeast Allen County were left without power for several hours. The outage area followed several miles of State Road 1 through the Leo-Cedarville area and extended to the north and northeast. Almost all have their lights back on, now. Utility officials say a fire caused damage to some equipment, starting the blackout.
