Parent Arrested At School

A parent is arrested at Montpelier Village Schools after a school resource officer noticed her showing signs of being under the influence after dropping off her child. Officials say Ashley Grond of Defiance was arrested and charged with felony possession of crystal methamphetamine, and on a warrant out of Defiance County. Grond was taken to Community Hospitals in Montpelier prior to being booked at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in Stryker.
