The snow emer­gency plan is in effect in the city of Defi­ance today in order to make it eas­ier for crews to clean out the snow from the streets.

Park­ing is pro­hib­ited on many down­town streets dur­ing spe­cific hours. Be sure you pay atten­tion to signs and take warn­ings seri­ously.

Police say ille­gally parked cars will be towed at the own­ers expense and the owner of such vehi­cles will also be liable for a fine of $25.
