The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash on November 23, 2024, that occurred at approximately 12:14 A.M. in Northwest Township, Williams County.
Connor Towers, age 20, of Edon, Ohio, was driving a vehicle northbound on County Road 1.50 at the intersection of US-20. Hunner Mravec, age 27, was driving a vehicle eastbound on US-20. 46 year old Tumurchudur Munkhbat, was operating semi-tractor westbound on US-20. Towers failed to yield the right of way from County Road 1.50 and was struck by the Mravec and Munkhbat vehicles.
Hunner Mravec and his front seat passenger were transported to Parkview Montpelier Hospital
by ambulance with serious injuries. Connor Towers sustained minor injuries and was not
transported. Tumurchudur Munkhbat was not injured.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
