Paulding Co. Man Dies in Tractor Accident

A Pauld­ing County man was found dead Wednes­day evening fol­low­ing an acci­dent involv­ing a farm trac­tor. Deputies responded to a call shortly before 8:30pm and found 75-year-old Richard Ross lying in a field west of Jack­son Town­ship. It appeared that Ross had fallen from the cab of his trac­tor, pos­si­bly because of a health issue since inves­ti­ga­tors did not find any rough ter­rain or evi­dence of wrong-doing by Ross. The inci­dent remains under investigation.
