Paulding Co Murder Update

A man’s body is discovered inside a home in Paulding County after an apparent home invasion. Deputies were dispatched to Road 230 in Cecil. They find 60-year-old Philip Koenn dead inside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds. Koenn was the lone occupant at this address and was the only one found inside the house. Police later arrest 32-year-old Michael Loop of Defiance. Loop was taken into custody and booked in the Paulding County Jail on one count of murder.
