Paulding Fair Underway

The Pauld­ing County Fair begins today with Can­cer Aware­ness Day, and runs through Sat­ur­day. Admis­sion is free.

Tonight at 6:30, the junior fair parade gets under­way, with line-up at 6 p.m. Imme­di­ately fol­low­ing the parade is the junior fair coro­na­tion cer­e­mony at the grand­stand.

The Thun­der of the Night band show will then be held at 8 p.m. at the grand­stand.

Tues­day is senior day at the fair­ground. All seniors age 60 and older are wel­come to com­pli­men­tary refresh­ments start­ing at 8 a.m..

A com­pli­men­tary lunch — sand­wich, salad, fruit, cookie and drink — will be pro­vided by the Pauld­ing County Senior Cen­ter at 11:30 a.m. There will then be stage enter­tain­ment from noon-2 p.m.

Wednes­day at the fair is 4-H alumni reunion day.

Vet­er­ans’ Day will be Thurs­day.

FFA alumni and safety day is Fri­day at the fair­grounds.

The fair winds down for the year on Sat­ur­day with Flag Day and scouts day, and a demo­li­tion derby at 7 p.m.
