The body of a woman found in Antwerp was identified as a missing Fort Wayne woman. 44-year-old Wilma Schwartz had been missing for about a week. The Paulding County Sheriff says it appears the body was placed at the scene of an abandoned property. The coroner is working on her cause of death. The Sheriff says they want to find the woman’s vehicle, a Pontiac Sunfire. The plate is reportedly a fake Indiana plate. He’s asking everyone to be looking for an abandoned Sunfire and call the Sheriff’s office if one is found.
Another body has been found in Paulding County, last night. A man hunting for mushrooms discovered a man’s body near Rochester Cemetery in Crane Township. That’s about 15 miles from the other crime scene. The body was covered by a blanket and it appeared to the coroner that the body had been at the cemetery for several weeks. They’ll conduct an autopsy and work to determine the man’s identity.
