Paulding woman dies in Ohio 49 crash

A fatal crash took the life of an Antwerp woman Sunday morning. The Ohio Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Lisa Recker was a passenger in a vehicle that went off the right side of the road, then the opposite side and hit a tree. The driver, 30-year-old Bobbi Brkovic of Paulding was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman who died was not wearing a seat-belt, but the driver was. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this fatal crash that happened on Route 49, north of Ohio 111 about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
