Pay Upped In HC

Pay raises for virtually all town employees are approved by the Holiday City Village Council. After a lengthy discussion, council agreed to the pay increases…the first in the village’s 20-year history…they take effect on the first. Council members’ annual pay goes up from $3,000 to $4,000 and the mayor’s pay increases from $6,000 to $8,000 a year. The increase includes three current council members who were re-elected in November but two others will not receive the raise until they are re-elected.
