One woman suffers life-threatening injuries after she is hit by a pickup truck on Meyer Road, near New Haven. Officials tell reporters four people were walking southbound in the curb lane…when two of them were struck by the vehicle. The victim was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. Another person received medical treatment at the scene. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The roadway was closed for hours. No word on any citations.
