Perrysburg becomes the eighth and final customer to join the Uniform Water Purchase and Supply Agreement with the City of Toledo. Perrysburg joins Maumee, Sylvania, Whitehouse, Fulton County, Monroe County and the Northwest Water and Sewer District in signing 40-year contracts with the Toledo water commission. Officials from those entities had spent at least a year considering other options, including getting water from the aquifer. As we reported, this signals a good chance AOP’s plans to drill for that water may get shelved.
