A Bryan man is arrested after causing a disturbance at a children’s T-ball game at Montpelier’s Municipal Park. Officials say Joseph Pettit, 36…was behaving aggressively and vocally, threatening a coach and pushing another spectator. The town’s parks and rec director was notified and attempted to calm Pettit down, but he continued to escalate the situation. A police officer was called to the scene and attempted to place Pettit under arrest when he attempted to evade him. A second officer responded and Pettit was apprehended and charged with resisting arrest, refusal to display personal identification and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and is not allowed back at the park.
