Plans are in the works to completely repave County Road D

Williams County Engineer Todd Roth says that County Road D between Ohio 576 and County Road 6 can be a bumpy ride with long stretches of broken and uneven pavement interrupted by numerous potholes. Plans are in the works to completely repave the roadway. The good news is Roth will have the state pay for it. It could happen as soon as this summer, but it might not be until 2018 or 2019 at the very latest. He told commissioners he applied to the state for funds to repair County Road D in 2014, shortly after he became county engineer. According to Roth, the amount that has been committed, $693,000 may be enough to not only finish all of D between Ohio 576 and County Road 6, but also pave County Road 6 from D south to U.S. 6.
