Police Call Unfounded In Angola

Angola Police have released a brief statement concerning a Monday morning incident that they are investigating. Authorities with the APD say that they received a phone call in which the caller reported that he had caused serious bodily injury to a female. The caller also stated that there were children in the home and they could also be harmed. Police along with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department checked residential homes along East Maumee Street. At this point city officials say that the complaint was unfounded and public safety in not to be a concern. An investigation continues.
