Poynter Gets 10-13

A Bryan man is sentenced to 10-13 years in prison for sex crimes against a teenage girl. Britton Poynter pled guilty on June, 9th to two counts each of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and more. Another 11 counts were dismissed in exchange for the guilty plea. The court released Poynter on his own recognizance, subject to electronic GPS monitoring. He was placed on house arrest and was only permitted to leave his home for work.
